NTPS Research Topics

The NTPS is a nationally representative sample survey of U.S. K-12 public and private elementary and secondary schools from the perspective of the teachers and principals who staff them. The survey is also representative at the state-level for public school educators and by affiliation for private school educators.

Data from the NTPS help researchers, policymakers, and other decisionmakers learn more about key questions and education research topics. You can find more information about selected research topics in the reports below. More information on these topics is also available in our NTPS Table Library.
